AEW’s Hangman Adam Page Burns Swerve’s Home Down on Dynamite

AEW's Hangman Adam Page Burns Swerve's Home Down on Dynamite

As a long-time fan of AEW, I can confidently say that tonight’s Dynamite was nothing short of electrifying! The final segment between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page has left me utterly spellbound. It’s not every day you see someone burning down their opponent’s childhood home, let alone on live television!

I apologize for the initial play on words, but AEW Dynamite truly set the stage ablaze tonight. This dramatic turn of events unfolded during the closing segment of the show, where Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page were due to sign a contract for their match at AEW All Out this weekend. However, Page failed to appear, unveiling a shocking twist – he was instead at Swerve’s childhood home, dousing it with gasoline. Seated in front of the house, Page sent a message to Swerve before igniting the fuel, and the house swiftly caught fire, resulting in a sudden alteration in their match at All Out

Lights Out

Swerve learned from Page that although not much information was uncovered about him, his childhood home was discovered. Page then tormented Swerve by pouring gasoline over the house as a form of intimidation. Meanwhile, in the arena, Swerve and Prince Nana were left dumbfounded. Page then made it clear to Swerve that he would not be approaching the World Championship, and he even hinted at what All Out might hold by setting the match alight with gasoline, causing the house to catch fire

At the scene, Strickland knelt down and pounded his fists on the floor as his old residence went up in flames, with Page seated nearby, watching it all burn. In a tweet following the conclusion of the broadcast, it became known that Tony Khan had altered the match at All Out due to Page’s actions, transforming it into an unsanctioned steel cage “knockout” contest under lights

For some time now, tension has built up significantly between Page and Strickland, culminating in a highly intense and gruesome encounter in the ring when they last crossed paths. Recently, Swerve claimed the AEW World Championship, while Page emerged with a sharper edge, an edginess that has only intensified over the past few weeks. Strickland, on the other hand, lost the World Title to Bryan Danielson at All In, which in turn re-ignited Page’s desire for retribution against Strickland

Although no one directly witnessed him setting fire Swerve’s childhood home being set ablaze, it’s precisely this uncertainty that makes Page such a formidable adversary. Strickland was a seething whirl mix of wrathis home’s and shattered and shattered as he watched his own home burning house burn his home blaze burn down, so if he wasn’t locked up before, certainly now undoubtedly. will no doubtless. The unlicensed match is highly unlikely these two will not squander not let waste not waste. The unlicious unsan sanction, and it. The clashunlication. Unsanction will go waste not let go. The unlicated stipulation will be put on the table
