Disneyland Tickets Already Sold Out for Tiana's Bayou Opening

As a dedicated Disney enthusiast who’s been navigating the magical realms for over two decades, I must say, the transformation of Splash Mountain into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a move that warms my heart! The fact that Disneyland is already sold out on the opening day speaks volumes about the anticipation and excitement surrounding this new attraction.

The transformation of Splash Mountain into a Princess and the Frog-themed ride at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World has been a prolonged process, but the end is now approaching. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure debuted in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom during the summer, with its Disneyland equivalent set to open in November. However, if you’re planning to attend the opening day of this new attraction without a pre-existing ticket, it may be difficult to secure one.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure won’t debut in Disneyland until November 15th, but tickets for that day have already been snapped up. If you try to buy tickets for Disneyland on the 15th, you’ll find there are none available. However, there are still tickets for Disney California Adventure on the same day, so visitors could purchase a ticket for that park and then visit Disneyland in the afternoon if they wish.

As a gaming enthusiast counting down the days, I can’t help but feel thrilled about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disneyland. The fact that tickets are already selling out two months before the opening is a strong indication of the excitement surrounding this revamped attraction among fellow Disney Parks visitors. It’s clear we’re all eagerly anticipating the adventure!

Instead of Splash Mountain, the iconic fan-loved ride, being replaced, it’s now making way for a fresh new attraction. For quite some time, Splash Mountain’s storyline, rooted in the debatable film “Song of the South,” has faced numerous concerns and lacked connection with current Disney properties. By incorporating the beloved tale of “Princess and the Frog” into this space, Disney is creating a whole new attraction and zone within Magic Kingdom, dedicated to one of their most adored princesses.

Although the mechanical aspect remains unchanged, the narrative, personalities, and soundtrack have undergone a total makeover. The revised experience transports guests on a melodic voyage through a lively New Orleans bayou, where animated creatures serenade with their voices and instruments.

Ted Robledo, a creative director at Walt Disney Imagineering, mentioned during the launch of Disney World’s Bayou Adventure that once we embark on our boats and sail through the picturesque, verdant lagoon teeming with bayou flora and fauna, we will embark on an exciting journey with Tiana, the jazz-loving alligator and trumpeter Louis, in search of a crucial missing element: musicians. Along this voyage, we’ll encounter various animal ensembles, each contributing unique New Orleans sounds to Tiana’s tunes. With Mama Odie’s magical aid, we will delve further into the bayou to find all the musicians we seek, as she transforms us into frogs, offering a perspective of the bayou that can only be experienced with Mama Odie herself.
