As a longtime fan of professional wrestling who has witnessed countless debuts and farewells over the years, I must say that the impending arrival of Xia Li in TNA has me thoroughly excited! Her unique blend of martial arts prowess and captivating charisma made her a standout during her time in WWE, and I can’t wait to see what she brings to the table in Impact Wrestling.
Tonight, as a gamer, I was hyped to witness the crossover between TNA Impact and NXT during the Knockouts Championship Open Challenge. But the excitement didn’t stop there! Earlier in the show, TNA dropped a video hinting at the imminent debut of a former WWE Superstar – none other than Xia Li. After her release earlier this year, fans like me have been eagerly speculating about where she might resurface. Now, it appears that destination is TNA, and the video leaves no doubt that her debut is just around the corner. With Victory Road approaching, maybe her new chapter will start there, but for now, we can only wait and watch!
A New Era
In the video, I find myself standing amidst a blazing inferno, though my face remains veiled from view. As the flames engulf the screen, a distorted voice, which I recognize as mine, echoes, “The initial spark symbolizes my awakening, and from this moment forth, there’s no going back.” The video concludes with a tantalizing hint that my debut is just around the corner. When exactly it will happen, only time will tell. However, as we previously mentioned, Victory Road seems to be the first major event where we might witness this long-awaited debut.

Xia Li, who joined WWE around seven years ago as the first female Chinese superstar, was released in April of this year. Afterward, she expressed her thoughts on Twitter about her time with WWE. In her post, she mentioned how proud she felt being part of such a large organization and thanked WWE and HHH for giving her a chance to become a part of their family. She also stated that during this period, she had grown significantly and gained numerous valuable experiences. Her gratitude was extended towards the trust and opportunities given to her to break barriers and set an example.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to every coach, colleague, and staff member who’ve walked with me on this incredible journey. Your unwavering support and guidance have made a foreign land feel like home. To all the amazing WWE fans out there, thank you for your deafening cheers that fuel me and shower me with endless love and encouragement. Your backing is my strength! The last significant WWE appearance by Xia was during her stint in NXT. During this tenure, she challenged Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship on the road to Survivor Series. Xia and Valkyria had several engaging segments and promos leading up to their match, with Valkyria successfully defending her title. Now, it seems Xia is joining TNA, and she promises to strengthen an already impressive Knockouts Division upon arrival.
