Beetlejuice Beetlejuice soundtrack: All the songs in Tim Burton sequel

As a music enthusiast and avid fan of Tim Burton’s work, I must say that the soundtrack for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has truly captured the spirit of its predecessor. The decision to bring back Harry Belafonte’s Day-O was not only a delightful surprise but also a clever nod to the original film’s iconic music moments.

One memorable aspect of the original Beetlejuice movie is its unique soundtrack. From the indelible moment with Harry Belafonte’s Day-O (The Banana Boat Song) to the impressive musical contributions by Danny Elfman, the film’s music stands out as a significant element that leaves a lasting impression.

Given the anticipation surrounding the sequel of Beetlejuice, it’s not surprising that Danny Elfman has returned to compose the music once more, as there was indeed a certain amount of expectation for it to match its predecessor’s success.

Another option that pays homage to the past is choosing to bring Day-O back for another appearance, but with a new twist.

“I believe there are certain elements you need to include throughout that help the audience feel comfortable and satisfy their expectations. To be clear, I wouldn’t call it fan service; rather, it’s about delivering what you recall resonates strongly with people.”

Of course there are plenty of others songs featured in the film as well – with the Bee Gees hit Tragedy one hit which is used to particularly good effect. Read on for the full list of songs on the official Beetlejuice Beetlejuice soundtrack.
