Maria expressed her sympathy on a September 5 TikTok about the finale of The Bachelorette, where Jenn shared that two months after their engagement, Devin Strader ended their relationship during a 15-minute phone call. Maria felt strongly that such personal discussions should have taken place off camera.
In the heart-pounding climax of events, I found myself face-to-face with Devin, discussing his decision to follow Maria – the initial choice for ‘The Bachelorette’ before me – on Instagram, just a day after our separation.
Maria acknowledged that it made sense for Jen to voice her opinion. She added, “Speak your mind, darling, I admire it.” Regarding Jenn’s appearance on the show, Maria stated, “However, without all the facts, it can easily mislead people and create a different storyline.”
To clarify a recent buzz, I’ve been made aware of the Devin follow incident. Frankly, I don’t keep tabs on who decides to join my digital circle or not. It wasn’t until others drew my attention to it that I even became aware. By then, he had already moved on, and I respect his choice.
