Crimson Desert’s Success Results in Pearl Abyss’s Highest Quarterly Revenue Ever

The company reported that most of its revenue this quarter – 94 percent – came from international sales. North America and Europe were particularly strong contributors, accounting for 81 percent of that total, or 266.5 billion won (approximately $178.85 million). This is a significant achievement. For the game Crimson Desert, both console and PC platforms generated an equal share – 50 percent each – of the overall revenue.

SEGA Cancels Super Game Project and Moves Away from Live Service

Hidden within the company’s recent financial report, it was revealed that a five-year project has been cancelled before it could launch. The project, initially announced in May 2021, aimed to create innovative experiences for major games, moving beyond standard game design and utilizing Sega’s various technologies.
