As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that Activision has been keeping me on my toes with this Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta. It’s been an exhilarating ride so far, with the latest update adding more XP and bringing back fan-favorite map Scud. However, it seems they forgot to fix my flashbang issues – I still can’t seem to see a thing after one goes off!
Activision has released another update for the ongoing “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” beta, which is drawing to a close soon. The beta, which started last weekend as an “Early Access” phase, has been running for over a week in total now. As the open beta runs until September 9, Activision has made some further modifications to the test version of “Black Ops 6”, primarily boosting the XP rates.
In essence, the latest update for the “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6” beta is primarily focused on refinements and enhancements. Activision has made tweaks to the game’s servers to ensure stability, reintroduced the Scud map in the Core Moshpit playlists, addressed issues related to flashbangs, and boosted frag grenades. Additionally, a single Daily Challenge that was causing trouble has been rectified. To top it off, Activision announced that Double Weapon XP will commence today at noon.
After wrapping up the beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, it appears there won’t be any further testing phases prior to launch (at least not yet). So, the next opportunity to jump into Black Ops 6 will be on October 25th across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms. Interestingly, Black Ops 6 is also slated to debut directly onto Xbox Game Pass, marking the biggest day-one launch for the subscription service they’ve ever had.
