As a lifelong fan of both video games and fast food, I can’t help but feel a strange sense of delight at the news that Colonel Sanders will be joining the roster of playable characters in Funko Fusion. Growing up, I remember the joy of munching on chicken buckets while watching cartoons, and now, here we are with the Colonel himself ready to dish out some virtual fried chicken puns and combos!
In “Funko Fusion,” you’ll encounter a diverse roster of characters, each given the iconic Funko Pop makeover throughout the years. The lineup includes beloved figures from films, television series, and video games, with a popular fast food mascot added to the mix. Today, developers 10:10 Games and KFC unveiled that Colonel Sanders himself will be a playable character within the game, exclusively accessible for KFC Rewards members. Starting on September 13th, which is also the game’s release date, KFC Rewards users can claim Colonel Sanders at no cost. However, additional skins for the character will be offered in the app for 250 points.

In the trailer, Colonel Sanders can be seen sporting his signature white suit and glasses, along with what seems like a chicken-firing cannon against his adversaries. So far, two new designs for Colonel Sanders have been unveiled: Chef Colonel Sanders and Mecha Colonel Sanders. The chef design features a hat and apron, while the Mecha design resembles Iron Man’s armor. It may be bizarre, but it’s undoubtedly entertaining, and we’ll see if more fast-food promotions for the game emerge; after all, numerous McDonaldland characters have received Funko figurines in the past!
If you’re eager to get the Colonel figure in your Funko Fusion collection, simply sign up or log in to your KFC Rewards account using the link provided. Once our promotion starts, you’ll find the DLC character within the rewards section of our site. This code should work across all versions of the game. At present, we haven’t specified an end date for this promotion, but remember that the PS4 and Nintendo Switch versions won’t be available until November 15th.
