Today, Coffee Stain Studios officially released Version 1.0 of their game, Satisfactory. They also revealed that they are actively working on a console-compatible version of the game.
Since 2016, Satisfactory has been under development, and it made its debut in Early Access on Epic Games five years ago, later also joining Steam’s Early Access program a year afterwards. The game is set on the unusual alien world of MASSAGE-2 (A-B). This world offers a variety of strange environments for players to explore and utilize at their convenience. Satisfactory is a first-person factory building game designed for 1-4 online participants. Players are free to roam this open world, constructing colossal factories across the planet to mine and process valuable natural resources.
In the complete edition of Satisfactory, the storyline has been completely revamped, introducing fresh enigmas for players to unravel. A new technological level, Tier 9, offers innovative methods for workers at FICSIT to exploit sophisticated alien technology in their endeavors to progress Project Assembly. Natural resources and extraterrestrial relics are essential for manufacturing and shipping components produced on MASSAGE-2 (A-B)b off the planet via a Space Elevator.
As a player, it’s up to you to fulfill the objectives of the Save The Day initiative. This intriguing project is filled with secrets, and you have the chance to explore the final stage of Project Assembly in the latest end-game levels. New portals allow for swift travel across the alien world, and Dimensional Depots offer enhanced inventory organization. Additionally, you can personalize your uniform color and customize your helmet, trinkets, and tool skins.
Apart from discovering unknown artifacts from aliens, players will also enjoy working with Mysterious Alien Substance (MAS) and investigating the latest Dimensional Storage Facility using the Advanced Molecular Scanner (AMS). Thanks to advanced alien weather tech, items kept in the Dimensional Storage are now accessible anywhere—streamlining factory construction as you no longer have to carry resources like a traditional pack animal.
Regarding the design of your factory construction, it features an array of fresh embellishments, such as windows and enclosures. The updated color schemes incorporate shades like chrome, copper, and carbon steel.
The full 1.0 release of Satisfactory is available now on PC via Steam and Epic Games. You can save 16% if you pick up Satisfactory for $27.59 from CDKeys, though the deal’s stock is limited. Coffee Stain Studios announced that a console port of Satisfactory is currently in development, but no details regarding release platforms or a potential launch window were given.
