In her September 9 Instagram post, she expressed how wonderful it felt to have completed her chemotherapy treatment now that summer has ended. She added that the previous nine months have been extremely challenging for her family, as they’ve had to adapt to unexpected changes in life and face an uncertain path together, navigating through turbulent times and unfamiliar territory.
She emphasized that maintaining measures to prevent cancer recurrence is her primary concern now. Even though she’s completed chemotherapy, her journey towards complete healing and recovery is still lengthy, requiring her to take things one day at a time. Yet, she’s eager to return to work and attend some upcoming public events once it’s appropriate.
She concluded the heartwarming message by expressing gratitude for the love they’ve received. “William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time,” she added. “To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness can come light, so let that light shine bright.”
Kate heavily relied on her 13-year partner during her experience with preventive chemotherapy sessions.
In her March video, she shared that the past two months have been particularly challenging for all of us as a family. Having William with me during this time has provided immense comfort and reassurance.
Especially since it was challenging to speak with their kids about her condition at first.
She clarified, “We’ve needed some time to discuss everything clearly with George, Charlotte, and Louis, making sure our explanations are age-appropriate. I’ve also been working to ease their concerns by letting them know I am healthy and growing stronger each day as I concentrate on recovery – physically, mentally, and spiritually.
