Former WWE Star Mandy Rose Says Wrestling Return Remains Uncertain

As a seasoned gamer who has witnessed the rollercoaster ride of professional wrestling careers, I must say, Mandy Rose‘s journey is one that resonates deeply with me, akin to a well-scripted WWE storyline. Her talent, resilience, and the unexpected twists in her career mirror the unpredictable nature of the games I play.

In 2022, Mandy Sacs (formerly known as Mandy Rose in WWE) was let go from her contract with the WWE following the posting of explicit content on her FanTime account, leading to the termination of her contract. This happened just 24 hours after she had lost the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez in a surprising manner. Since then, Sacs has been mostly silent about her plans for wrestling and has not yet fully returned to regular competition. However, she recently made an appearance in a ring during the first-ever Wrestlers Combine, where many well-known figures went head-to-head in various wrestling-themed challenges.

Mandy Rose on Her Wrestling Future

On her latest episode of the Power Alphas Podcast, Rose discussed the recent event and shared insights about her wrestling future. However, she confessed that she sustained an injury during a knee strike against independent wrestler Shazza McKenzie. “At this point, I’m unsure if I’ll be returning to the ring,” she stated. “The desire is there, but only slightly. I have numerous projects ongoing currently. For me, it needs to align with my current situation.

Beyond mere financial consideration, it’s crucial to evaluate if this decision aligns with my personal desires. Is it right for me to undertake this physically demanding task at this juncture of my life? Traveling is something I cherish, and I enjoy my current life in New York with my family, as well as my trips to Florida. There’s a wedding approaching, and the question of starting a family soon lingers. There are numerous thoughts swirling in my mind. On the other hand, being young, am I ready to conclude all my endeavors? I sense there are unfinished business awaiting me, yet I’m uncertain if this is the ideal moment to re-engage or if I should wait. Will people forget about me if I step away for a while? This concern often crosses my mind.

2015 marked the start of Sacs’ wrestling journey, as she made her debut on WWE Tough Enough. Shortly afterward, she found herself with the NXT brand, where she stayed until 2017, when she teamed up with Paige and Sonya Deville to create the Absolution stable on the main roster. Although she experienced some success, her career skyrocketed after returning to NXT and claiming the championship title.
