As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that Sony’s latest lineup for PlayStation Plus is nothing short of impressive! The diverse selection of titles caters to a wide range of gaming preferences, from indie gems like “The Plucky Squire” and “Night in the Woods,” to AAA experiences such as “Far Cry 5.
Sony has unveiled the upcoming lineup of games for both PS5 and PS4 on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium starting next month. As of September 2024, all PlayStation Plus members will have access to three new titles: Harry Pottter: Quidditch Champions, MLB The Show 24, and Little Nightmares II . In about a week, PS Plus subscribers with higher tiers can anticipate playing an additional 13 games.
Starting September 17th, the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog will introduce fresh titles for this month. Leading the pack is “The Plucky Squire”, a new indie game from Devolver Digital, which coincidentally releases globally across all platforms on the same day and joins PS Plus. Additional games such as “Night in the Woods”, “Wild Card Football”, “Far Cry 5”, and “Road 96” will also be added to the catalog.
For those with Premium subscriptions on PS Plus, look forward to four fresh additions coming up next week! Two games from the PS2 era, “Sky Gunner” and “Mister Mosquito”, are being updated for contemporary hardware. Additionally, “Secret Agent Clank” is moving over from the PSP, marking a significant milestone as it brings the entire Ratchet & Clank series to modern PlayStation systems. Lastly, “Pistol Whip” will be the only addition for PS VR2 owners in September, with Sony aiming to make their VR accessory more approachable for PS Plus members.
