As a seasoned movie buff who has seen more comedies than I can count, I eagerly await the premiere of Taskmaster Season 18! The lineup this year is particularly intriguing, with cricket enthusiast Andy Zaltzman joining the fray.

Who is Andy Zaltzman on Taskmaster?
Andy Zaltzman is a comedian, best known for his comedy work across politics and sport.
In 1999, Zaltzman embarked on his comedy journey following his debut performance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He also reached the finals of the “So You Believe You’re Amusing” competition for new acts.
Over time, Zaltzman started creating his own performances, such as “Andy Zaltzman vs. The Dog of Doom”, “John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman’s List of Demands” and “Andy Zaltzman: Satirist for Hire”.
Apart from stage performances, his comedy has been broadcast on radio and television. He’s made appearances as a guest star on Russell Howard’s Good News Extra, shared hosting duties on The Bugle, and most recently emerged victorious in Celebrity Mastermind, specializing in the French sculptor Auguste Rodin.
