As a reviewer with a soft spot for nostalgia-inducing comedies, I must say that the prospect of Outnumbered returning is like finding a long-lost family photo album – it warms my heart and brings a smile to my face. Having grown up watching this delightful series, I can’t help but reminisce about the chaotic yet endearing Brockman household.
Prepare yourself for a nostalgic trip down memory lane as Outnumbered makes its comeback with a festive special! The original cast members are eagerly anticipating further projects together.
If asked whether they’d prefer a full season instead of a single special for the comedy series, the group appears quite open to that suggestion.
As a fan, I fully believe that the storyline could very well unfold in this manner. There’s no doubt in my mind that it’s plausible, and I can’t see any reasons for it not to happen. Tyger Drew-Honey, who skillfully portrays Jake Brockman, seems to share this sentiment.
Although the actor has clarified that as of now, there’s no “news” about a complete season, he also hinted that he’d never rule out the possibility.
Ramona Marquez, who is well recognized for her role as the straightforward and unfazed character Karen Brockman, hinted at the possibility of another season, stating it would have a somewhat altered tone.
She added: “Don’t they though? Those incidents tend to reoccur at some point. We’re prepared to face them again.
Everyone seems particularly excited for the upcoming Christmas special, yet not even the actors themselves know what’s in store!
So far, we’ve gotten together for a few meetings and discussions, but our filming is coming up shortly. However, we’re yet to receive the script, so we’re eagerly awaiting further details as well!
As a movie enthusiast, I’ve heard Hugh Dennis mention that the filming for the holiday special wasn’t scheduled until November. So, it’s quite possible that things are still on track as planned.
