As a dedicated Futurama fan who has weathered the highs and lows of the show’s production cycle for over two decades, I can confidently say that this latest announcement has my heart racing faster than Scruffy on caffeine overtime. The return of Funko Pop figures based on our beloved characters is like a beacon of light in the dark expanse of interstellar waiting we’ve endured.
For nearly a decade now, Funko has been absent from releasing Pop figures depicting Futurama characters. However, given the show’s history of extended absences followed by revivals, fans have grown accustomed to this pattern. Luckily, another revival is underway for the Futurama Funko Pop series! Starting today, September 12th at 12pm ET, you can pre-order new Pop figures featuring Philip J. Fry, Turanga Leela, Zapp Brannigan, and Bender. Additionally, a specialty series Bender with a Chase variant is anticipated to be part of the upcoming wave as well.

It was a blend of revival and innovation, but with Season 12, it seems like all that hard work is paying off as “Futurama” has found its stride once more.
The twelfth season of the show Futurama debuted on Hulu on July 29th.
