Starting in 2023, Daniel and Stephen have announced they won’t be reappearing on the television series Gogglebox. In a statement, Channel 4 explained: “After an exceptional and memorable journey on Gogglebox, Stephen and Daniel have chosen to take a leap and venture out of their armchairs, deciding to step away from the show as they embark on new adventures.
From the beginning of Gogglebox, Stephen has been a source of laughter for viewers with his witty comments. He’s shared his thoughts on significant TV moments from the past decade, making the show even more enjoyable. We appreciate their contributions to our program and are excited to see what they will do next in their future endeavors.
This January, it was announced that Stephen’s mother, Pat Webb, tragically died at the age of 75, according to Googlebox.
From series 10 through 12, I had the privilege of being a cherished cast member, standing side by side with my son, Stephen, on the show.
As one of Mummy Pat’s cherished fans, I can attest to the profound impact she had on her beloved children – Stephen, Denise, Sharon, Beverley, and their extended family. After leaving the show, Mica resumed her career as a hairstylist at her salon in London. Marcus, on the other hand, is involved in business, boxing coaching, and gym management. He established TM Boxing Gym in 2009 with a focus on helping young people from the local community who may be facing disadvantages, and he even trained his son Shiloh there.

Mary and Marina joined the show in 2016, and quickly became faves on the show.
Regardless of their advanced years, these women maintained a youthful spirit and didn’t shy away from laughter. Frequently, they found themselves engrossed in discussions about their romantic affairs.
In August 2021, Gogglebox favourite Mary Cook died aged 92.

Scarlett Moffatt was the shining star of Gogglebox, but her run on the show ended when she joined I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2016. After winning that show, she has found success with roles on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and Channel 4’s revamped dating program Streetmate.
Initially, she started appearing on Googlebox alongside her parents Betty and Mark as far back as 2014. She became well-known for her witty remarks. After her departure from the Channel 4 program, her parents eventually followed suit.
Sandi and Sandra

Bill boasts a degree in mathematics from Cambridge University, is a renowned journalist, and was once the British Chess Champion. On the other hand, Josef is not only an accountant but also holds the titles of World Cluedo and Scottish Monopoly Champion.
The Woerdenwebers
The Woerdenweber family is particularly recognized for the wit of Ralf, and for Jay, who was once Eve’s boyfriend, often found silent while seated on the couch.
In my perspective, my remarkable mom, Viv, operates a captivating tattoo studio that showcases her artistic talents. Just a stone’s throw away, my sister Eve manages a distinctive New Age boutique, where she offers an array of intriguing incense, essential oils, and Pagan jewelry that resonate with the spirit of ancient wisdom.
Rev. Kate and Graham
Between 2014 and 2016, the pair spent their evenings on the couch watching television alongside their greyhound Buster. Reverend Kate and Graham, who have been a couple for 22 years and share two children, departed from the show after two years. Since then, Kate has gained significant popularity in the TV industry.
She frequently appears as a host on BBC One’s Songs of Praise, and competed in Celebrity MasterChef in 2017. Additionally, she serves as a radio broadcaster.
Linda & Pete McGarry, and George Gilbey

The rather boisterous family of four residing in North London lost their place on Gogglebox following Amy’s appearance on Celebs Go Dating. This change was a result of the show’s policy, which prohibits casting any celebrities.
More recently, Nikki and Jonathan marked their 23rd marriage milestone. Jonathan, who works as a driver, has undergone a remarkable transformation, losing approximately 3 stone 7 lbs, making him nearly unrecognizable from his days on Gogglebox. Meanwhile, their son Josh is making strides in the field of politics.
Steph and Dom
