When inquisitive fans like me asked Devolver Digital on Twitter if the game could run at an impressive 60 FPS on the Nintendo console, they regretfully replied that the Switch isn’t capable of sustaining such a high frame rate, which is quite unfortunate.
As an ardent gamer, I’ve been eagerly awaiting official confirmation about the performance targets for this game across various platforms. However, based on speculation, I believe it’s a safe bet that the game will strive to achieve 60 FPS on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. In contrast, it might aim for a different frame rate on the Switch.
Earlier, the developer All Possible Futures disclosed that the main story of ‘The Plucky Squire’ is expected to last around 8-10 hours. They later announced that the game has been verified for Steam Deck compatibility. A recent trailer also highlighted its accessibility features.
