This news was shared by the series’ official Twitter account, accompanied by an image of producer Masaaki Hayasaka and series creator Yuji Horii celebrating. It’s likely that the development teams at Team Asano and Artdink are still making adjustments for a patch to be released on the game’s launch day.
The remastered version of Dragon Quest 3, titled “Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake,” is a modern take on the 1988 role-playing game “Dragon Quest 3: The Seeds of Salvation.” In this updated adaptation, players assume the role of Erdrick as he embarks on a mission to vanquish Baramos, the archfiend. Key features include an enhanced art style reminiscent of “Octopath Traveler” and “Triangle Strategy,” revised user interface, customizable protagonist appearances, and a new character class called Monster Wrangler, which allows players to utilize monster abilities.
