As a movie critic with a penchant for gritty dramas and a soft spot for complex characters, I must say that I am thoroughly intrigued by the upcoming season of Tulsa King. Neal McDonough’s portrayal of Cal Thresher in this series seems to resonate deeply with me, much more so than his character Malcolm Beck from previous projects.
At the start of Tulsa King’s second season, we encounter Cal Thresher, portrayed by Neal McDonough, who is both powerful and fiercely protective of his territory. His confrontation with Dwight at a community event sets the stage for potential conflict between them.
“The General” is planning to expand his marijuana business, which Cal, as someone who also deals in that space, simply cannot allow.
Let the war commence.

“Yellowstone was an awesome hit for me, but there’s something about Cal Thresher and Tulsa King that is just a little bit closer to me, way more than Malcolm Beck.
Malcolm Beck merely played a part, but Cal Thresher, there’s something about him that truly appeals to me, and I believe the audience will feel the same way.
