As a longtime EastEnders enthusiast with a knack for predicting Walford’s most intricate plot twists, I must say that this latest development involving Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) has me gripped! The tension between her, Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier), and Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) is palpable, and I can’t help but feel for poor Anna, caught in a web of secrets and unrequited feelings.

In the television series EastEnders, character Anna Knight (previously known as Molly Rainford) faced a significant choice concerning her unplanned pregnancy, all while dealing with hidden emotions shared with fellow character Freddie Slater (portrayed by Bobby Brazier), who also harbored feelings for her.
At present, Anna is romantically involved with Bobby Beale, Freddie’s best friend, and she has revealed that she is pregnant with his child. Additionally, she deceived her sister, Gina Knight, by claiming to be content with this news.
However, Anna didn’t answer Bobby’s phone calls, instead, Freddie wavered about messaging her to inquire about her well-being. Caught between actions, Anna dismissed Bobby’s worry about her illness by claiming she was excessively occupied with work and had no time for him.
In the end, Gina managed to convince Anna to confess that she hadn’t really desired this pregnancy. Later on, Gina shared her own experience of having a termination in Spain, where the time limit for such procedures is 14 weeks. To help Anna make an informed decision, Gina looked up abortion clinics in their vicinity online.
Simultaneously, unaware Bobby expressed his desire to reunite their close bond with Freddie. With some hesitation, Freddie accompanied Bobby to The Queen Vic, aiming to lift Anna’s spirits.
When Freddie grabbed his laptop to place a food order, he unintentionally landed on a clinic search page instead. Instead of voicing his confusion, he made a quick exit by inventing a reason for leaving.
In the course of events, Anna encountered her half-brother Peter Beale (played by Thomas Law), as he was busy making preparations for little Louie’s ninth birthday celebration.
Upon inquiring from Peter about his feelings towards becoming a father so early in life, I found myself moving towards Freddie. It seemed to me that Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) had hinted to Peter that my unusual behavior might suggest I’m expecting.
Freddie suggested to Anna that she should inform Bobby about her pregnancy, yet Anna disclosed her plan to visit a clinic tomorrow, implying that it wouldn’t be appropriate for Freddie to tell Bobby. So, the question is: will Bobby discover this information on his own?
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One and from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
