View Urgent ForecastFollowing Diablo, Overwatch 2 is set to team up with another Blizzard Entertainment series – World of Warcraft. This event kicks off on September 17th, introducing fresh skins for characters like Widowmaker, Zenyatta, Reinhardt, and Torbjorn. Take a look at the first trailer right here below.
Reinhardt has transformed into the Frost-wielder known as the Lich King, instead of carrying a hammer. Widowmaker assumes the persona of Sylvanas Windrunner, brandishing a bow rather than her usual sniper rifle. Zenyatta dons a Thrall appearance, an unexpected switch, while Torbjorn’s Magni Bronzebeard skin reappears, but this time it’s crafted from diamond to align with his character in the World of Warcraft lore.
Additionally, it appears that players may engage in battles while assuming the roles of either the Alliance or the Horde in certain modes. The specifics of how this will function are yet to be revealed, so keep an eye out for further updates.
You can now play Overwatch 2 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, or your personal computer. The current season, titled Season 12: New Frontiers, has introduced a new Support character named Juno and a new core mode called Clash. Keep an eye out for upcoming announcements, such as the mid-season balance adjustment.
