Secret Sonic 3 Surprise Included With Transformers One Tickets

As a hardcore fan who’s grown up with both these iconic franchises, I can hardly contain my excitement about this unique crossover! The idea of getting a “top secret” Sonic 3 collector’s print at Transformers One screenings is just too good to pass up. It’s like the perfect fusion of my childhood dreams coming true!

This week, “Transformers One” is set to hit theaters, and lucky viewers at selected cinemas on Friday, September 20th will get an exclusive bonus linked to “Sonic the Hedgehog 3”. As per the official Transformers movie website, the initial 300 attendees at participating theaters will receive a mysterious “Sonic 3” collector’s poster. While the exact design might be unveiled prior to Friday, Paramount is currently being secretive about it. The promotion is taking place across various U.S. cinema chains, and a comprehensive list of participating theaters can be found here.

The upcoming film “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” is slated for release on December 20th, yet Paramount has been relatively silent about it until recently. Just a couple of months before its premiere, they finally unveiled the first trailer for the movie, offering Sega enthusiasts their initial glimpse at Shadow’s appearance. In this film, Shadow is expected to play a significant role, with Keanu Reeves lending his voice to the character for the first time. While it’s been confirmed that a collector’s print will be distributed at “Transformers One” screenings, featuring Shadow in some form, it remains unclear whether this print will solely depict Shadow or if it will include other characters as well. If the print only shows an image of Shadow, it seems unlikely that Paramount would keep such a tight lid on information. However, there’s no definite indication at this point whether there will be any related movie revelations in the near future.

Giving away “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” at “Transformers One” screenings might appear to be an unconventional match, but both films are Paramount’s top family-friendly releases this year. The promotion could entice Sonic fans to watch Transformers, and maybe vice versa. For those hesitant about going to the movie, reviews have been generally favorable. Currently, “Transformers One” holds a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 52 reviews. ComicBook’s official review for the film earned it a score of 4 out of 5.
