Street Fighter 6 Character Guide Highlights Terry Bogard’s Moves and Overdrives

As a seasoned gamer with decades of fighting game history etched into my DNA, I can confidently say that the addition of Terry Bogard to Street Fighter 6 is like a reunion with an old friend from the dojo. His moveset, as outlined in his Character Guide, brings back fond memories of Fatal Fury, King of Fighters, and Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement! Terry Bogard is officially joining the roster of Street Fighter 6 as the latest Year 2 DLC character, and it’s happening next week! To prepare for his entry, Capcom has released the Character Guide for the Legendary Hungry Wolf himself. This guide offers an in-depth look at all Terry’s Special Moves and their Overdrive versions. What makes this even more thrilling is that it’s written from Terry’s perspective, giving us a unique insight into his mindset as he prepares to enter the arena. Don’t miss out on this exclusive guide – check it out below!

If you’ve got a soft spot for classics like Fatal Fury, The King of Fighters, or Garou: Mark of the Wolves, you’ll find a lot that feels familiar in Street Fighter 6. The Power Wave, functioning as a projectile and its Overdrive version dealing multiple hits, is just one example. The iconic Burning Knuckle also makes a seamless transition. What really caught my eye, though, was the sneak peek at his alternate costume, modeled after his look from Garou – a detail that, in my opinion, deserves more recognition!

In the upcoming Street Fighter 6 game, Terry Bogard will be available to play starting September 24th – keep an eye out for his release! It’s important to note that he isn’t the only character from the Fatal Fury series making an appearance; Mai Shiranui is also joining the roster in Winter 2025 (which falls during next year). Lastly, Elena will conclude the Year 2 Character Pass in Spring 2025.
