The Penguin's Colin Farrell Claims He Even Wore NSFW Prosthetic to Be "Fully Anatomically Correct"

As a seasoned gamer and comic book enthusiast with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the latest news about Colin Farrell‘s role in “The Penguin” has certainly added an interesting twist to the Batman lore. The full-body prosthetic worn by Farrell for his portrayal of Oz Cobb included genitalia – a detail that, while amusing, is not entirely unheard of in the world of comic book adaptations.

In the TV series “The Penguin,” Colin Farrell’s full-body prosthesis, which he wore, seemed to include a replica of male genitalia. In a recent promotional video, Farrell humorously referred to it as his “Penguin pecker” and shared that underneath those tuxedos, he had a body designed with realistic anatomy. Known for his Academy Award-nominated roles, Farrell portrays “Oz Cobb,” a more ruthless and brutal version of the comic book villain Oswald Cobblepot, who is usually depicted as less violent in adaptations outside of comics. Although they didn’t film any scenes necessitating anatomically correct Penguin body parts, it appears that the production team was ready for such a scenario.

Indeed, it’s no surprise that after finishing the first season, he expressed his dislike for wearing that suit again. By then, I imagine one could long for the freedom of letting their skin breathe.

In the video from CinemaBlend (watch it here), Farrell chuckles, saying, “Indeed, it was present. And I must tell you, it was anatomically accurate to the core.

Should the character Penguin Pecker appear in a possible sequel to the series, it would mean that Farrell becomes a part of a distinguished lineage of Batman bloopers which commenced with issue #1 of Batman: Damned.

At present, the specific narrative of “The Penguin” is not extensively detailed. The summary merely hints, “The upcoming installment in the Batman tale unfolds as a gritty crime drama, chronicling Oz Cobb’s pursuit of power and dominance within Gotham City.

Alberto Falcone and Sofia Falcone are significant secondary characters in the highly respected Batman comic tale known as “The Long Halloween“. In the adaptation of The Penguin, Michael Zegen portrays Alberto Falcone while Cristin Milioti takes on the role of Sofia Falcone. Trailers for The Penguin have highlighted Milioti’s Sofia Falcone, suggesting that she will be a key adversary and counterpart to Oz.

Penguin showrunner/lead writer Lauren LeFranc referenced Rosemary Kennedy, the hidden Kennedy family member, who was institutionalized in an asylum. It’s debatable whether she had a mental illness or merely performed actions deemed inappropriate by the Kennedys, causing embarrassment. She underwent a lobotomy, making her story very sad. This thought crossed LeFranc’s mind when considering Carmine and Sofia; what if Sofia was originally from Arkham State Hospital? Did she rightfully belong there?
