It’s evident that they are proficient in stunts, and Mariduena seems particularly comfortable. The duo demonstrates a good chemistry as they engage in combat with some stunt performers. This fight scene caught the eye of One Piece enthusiasts, as it evokes memories of Luffy’s many battles with Ace. In essence, this Geeked Week teaser echoes those epic battles.
Regarding Ace, he’s not just Luffy’s elder sibling, but a renowned pirate in his own right, a fact established in the anime set during his years on the high seas. Will Ace Even Appear in One Piece Season 2?

The series is being filmed in South Africa at present, with creator Eiichiro Oda having mapped out its general narrative. It’s been confirmed that season two will conclude just before the Alabasta saga begins, which means anything from Loguetown to Drum Island could potentially occur. In the original anime, Ace doesn’t appear until Luffy reaches Alabasta, but the live-action adaptation by Netflix might deviate somewhat from this timeline. It’s possible that they could subtly introduce an ‘Ace easter egg’ as a hint for season three, and Mariduena would be an ideal choice for this role.
