As a seasoned gamer and horror enthusiast with over two decades of scaring myself senseless under the covers, I can confidently say that Paramount+ has outdone itself this year with its Peak Screaming collection. The sheer variety of titles catering to every taste is nothing short of spine-tingling.
We’re merely weeks away from October and that means Halloween fans are starting to plan all the ways in which they will embrace the spirit of All Hallow’s Eve, and while some streaming platforms can be a bit tricky to navigate when it comes to finding seasonal offerings, Paramount+ has launched its slate of Peak Screaming titles to make the process effortless. The platform has hundreds of movies, TV series, and Halloween-centric episodes of content to dive into in the coming weeks, with Paramount+ also breaking down all of its horror content into various groups, from “Killer classics” to “Family Fright Night.” You can check out what to expect from Paramount+’s Peak Screaming content below.
According to the press release, the exhilarating Paramount+ Screaming Peaks collection makes its comeback on the service today with an enormous assortment of chills for viewers to savor during this Halloween season. This beloved collection grows annually and showcases an unprecedented number of genre-defining hits and timeless classics, including over 450 new originals, favorite horror movies, and iconic Halloween episodes from cherished series. The thematic collection will feature the premiere of the Paramount+ original film “Apartment 7A” (September 27th), a spine-tingling prequel to the cult classic “Rosemary’s Baby“; and “SpongeBob SquarePants: Kreepaway Kamp ” (October 10th), an all-new hour-long special in which SpongeBob and his pals encounter a mysterious figure while at Kamp Koral for a reunion, as campers begin mysteriously vanishing one by one.
