EastEnders’ schedule change confirmed to make way for Boris Johnson interview

As a dedicated soap opera enthusiast who has navigated through the ups and downs of Walford for the past three decades, I must admit, the recent schedule shake-up for EastEnders has left me slightly perplexed. The thought of Boris Johnson gracing our screens during my favorite soap’s usual timeslot is a tad unsettling, to say the least.

In the upcoming weeks, the program EastEnders will experience a change in its schedule. A soap opera episode has been moved to accommodate “Boris Johnson: The Laura Kuenssberg Interview,” which is scheduled for Thursday, 3rd October.

As a devoted cinephile, I’ve grown accustomed to tuning into EastEnders every weekday at 7:30 PM on BBC One. But here’s a twist – this coming special, featuring Laura Kuenssberg in conversation with Boris Johnson, will be replacing the usual 29-minute episode.

Fear not, fans! The much-anticipated episode is actually scheduled for release on Friday, 4th October at 7:30pm, offering all the thrilling action from Albert Square as usual. Additionally, it’s likely that the episode will become available on BBC iPlayer a day earlier, on Thursday, and will be released on the platform at 6am on Friday instead.

Drama abounds in Walford as a poignant farewell scene was streamed on BBC iPlayer this September 19th.

As we approach October, it’s unclear how things will unfold in EastEnders, but based on the upcoming spoilers, no secret or hidden matter seems to be safe.

By the close of September, things are heating up with an unexpected comeback of fan-favorite character Bianca Jackson, portrayed by Patsy Palmer. Without delay, she swiftly lays blame on Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) for the predicament of her sister Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy).

In another part of the storyline, Vinny Panesar, played by Shiv Jalota, is in danger next week, as his father, Nish Panesar, portrayed by Navin Chowdhry, concocts a scheme to ensnare his son instead.

Moreover, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) cautions Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), as their son Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) faces a challenging predicament.

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One and from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
