As a longtime follower and admirer of Snoop Dogg, I am beyond excited about his debut as The Voice’s newest coach! Growing up in the era of Snoop’s dominance in hip-hop, his music was an integral part of my life, shaping my taste in music and influencing my perspective on pop culture.
The Voice has a whole new swagger thanks to Snoop Dogg.
In an exclusive sneak peek from TopMob News, the rapper steps into his grand entrance as the fresh coach for the 26th season of NBC’s vocal competition series.
In the sneak peek, the singer famous for “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” Snoop Dogg, excitedly shares that he’s joining us, and we’re in for an entertaining season, so get ready!
Additionally, Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire, and Michael Bublé were thrilled beyond words at the prospect of collaborating with the renowned hip-hop artist, Snoop.
In the teaser, Gwen expresses her enthusiasm, saying, “I’m thrilled that Snoop is joining us as a coach! He’s an original who’s carved out his own identity, transcending boundaries. You don’t need to mention ‘Snoop Dogg’; just ‘Snoop’ is enough. I believe Snoop has this unique charisma that exudes warmth and care. It’s immediately evident that he deeply cares about the people he coaches.
Additionally, newcomer coach Michael remarks that Snoop Dogg is exceptionally intelligent and gifted, bordering on being a genius.
Shift focus to Snoop creating puffs of smoke as he attempts to persuade a competitor to join his squad, doing so amidst the other coaches.
As they’re puffing away over yonder, let me assure you, he says to the optimistic one, “The finest coach is indeed Double-G of D-O.
After the stunt, Michael jokes, “I’m not sure what you just pulled off, but I’m pretty sure I’ve got the urge to snack.
Instead of attracting auditionees with lavishly adorned jewelry and ensuring Reba always had candies during recordings, Snoop seems incredibly comfortable in his rotating red chair.
Regarding his potential victory in Season 26, Reba believes it’s primarily his charming demeanor and endearing personality that put him in the running as a strong competitor.
Snoop, as seen on Happy’s Place, is an incredibly versatile individual,” the star enthusiastically expresses. “He’s ventured into rap music, and even children’s tunes. I believe he did this for his grandkids, which I find incredibly touching and adorable. He’s cherished universally, and he’s so warm, fun, and gifted. Yet, it’s his heart that has captivated me the most.
See Snoop make his epic Voice debut in the preview above.
The Voice returns Monday, Sept. 23, at 8 p.m. on NBC.
