Black Mirror recently shared some significant insights about the upcoming season through an intriguing post on various social media platforms.

In a fresh 15-second video, the main actors of season 7 have been disclosed by Black Mirror, referring to it as a “data dump” release, and viewers are definitely excited about the upcoming season!

Netflix announced an impressive lineup of actors for the main roles in Season 7, featuring Peter Capaldi, known for his work on Doctor Who; Paul Giamatti, a winner of an Academy Award; and Cristin Milioti, who has previously acted in Black Mirror’s USS Callister episode.

Additional actors joining the project are Awkwafina, Milanka Brooks, Emma Corrin, Patsy Ferran, Lewis Gribben, Osy Ikhile, Rashida Jones, Siena Kelly, Billy Magnussen, and Rosy McEwen. Each of these talented individuals brings a unique charm to their respective roles in this diverse cast.

The only episode detail that was previously revealed was that the dark and satirical six-part season will include a sequel to USS Callister.

Charlie Brooker, the creator, hinted back in August that the upcoming episodes would reach unprecedented levels, assuring fans that they would feel reminiscent of the original “Black Mirror” series.

In conversation with Deadline, he stated: “We’re embarking on some new territories. Viewers can anticipate a strong emotional pull and, ideally, a blend of suspense. We dabbled in horror narratives during season 6, which we refer to as Red Mirror. However, this season is more akin to the original Black Mirror.

I composed a single script, and the overall feedback was that it was one of the most depressing, intense impacts yet. Additionally, there are tech-focused episodes and ones that bring tears to eyes. Hopefully, it provides a complete emotional workout, but time will tell. Ultimately, the audience will decide its impact.
