As a seasoned PlayStation enthusiast with decades of gaming under my belt, I must say, the Tokyo Game Show lineup for 2023 has me more excited than ever! The prospect of getting my hands on demos for the Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is enough to make any gamer’s heart race. And let’s not forget the indie game focus with PlayStation’s head of indies Shuhei Yoshida – always a treat for those who love discovering hidden gems.

Back in July, it was announced that Sony would once again participate in the Tokyo Game Show, which is set to take place next week. This marks their first appearance as a general exhibitor since 2019. Now, they have revealed the complete list of games they will be showcasing at the event.

Initially, you’ll find a variety of demo stations set up, giving players the opportunity to try out several upcoming games such as “Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake”, “Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater”, “Metaphor: ReFantazio”, “Sonic X Shadow Generations”, and “Monster Hunter Wilds”, among others. The company will also set up two PS5 Pro booths, allowing visitors to play the “Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth” and “Gran Turismo 7’s” enhanced versions for the PS5 Pro.

Apart from their interactive game stations and exhibits, Sony also has scheduled three days of presentations on stage. On September 26, the company will initiate with a presentation centered around “Astro Bot”, followed by an event featuring indie games led by PlayStation’s head of indies, Shuhei Yoshida. Finally, on September 28, Sony is set to exhibit three significant upcoming third-party titles: “Silent Hill 2”, “Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO”, and “Metaphor: ReFantazio”.

In summary, it’s been confirmed that on September 29, we have a live stage presentation scheduled for “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach”, lasting an hour. The game director, Hideo Kojima, will be presenting the game, and there are other guests who will also be appearing. Later in the day, Sony will present “Monster Hunter Rise” and “Dynasty Warriors: Origins”.
