As a seasoned cinephile who has witnessed countless culinary battles unfold on the small screen, I must say that Vito Coppola’s victory in Celebrity MasterChef 2024 left me absolutely smitten. The final episode was a veritable feast for the eyes and taste buds, as these three talented celebrities showcased their passion for food with every dish they presented.

Following six weeks filled with challenging cook-offs and culinary trials, Celebrity MasterChef reached its exciting finale, where the remaining competitors Craig Doyle, Rochenda Sandall, and Vito Coppola fought fiercely to earn the admiration of judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
During finals week, the standards were significantly elevated since the remaining celebrities were tasked with overseeing lunch service on the British Pullman train and crafting a meal that was reminiscent of someone dear to their hearts.
However, the second-to-last challenge proved to be the most difficult one – Chef’s Table. During this year’s competition, hosted by Adam Smith, the finalists were required to prepare food of exceptional quality to win over a table that included Aktar Islam, Anna Haugh, and Frederick Forster.
Once again, the outcome hinged on a crucial instance, with the contenders given two hours to prepare their ultimate dinner party menus, showcasing dishes that surpassed anything they’d cooked before.
In the final stages of the contest, Vito Coppola emerged victorious as the Champion of Celebrity MasterChef 2024, making him the 19th notable individual to claim the prestigious trophy.
Overwhelmed by his MasterChef victory, Vito exclaimed: “I can hardly believe it! Just look at that stunning trophy. People might think food is merely food, but for me, food is more than that – it’s life itself. Food has been the first love of my life, and I can hardly wait to share this incredible achievement with my family.
Following my victory, I phoned Grandpa and shared the news: “Grandpa, I triumphed! It was your ingredients that helped me win. I finished first! I adore you.
Vito’s triumphant meal selection featured a primary course of Seafood Pasta Scialatielli – a traditional Italian dish made with wide ribbons of pasta called scialatielli, combined with clams, mussels, squid, and shrimp.
As a dessert option, he prepared the delightful Babà Di Vito – a petite rum-soaked cake, usually accompanied by zabaione, an Amarsala wine cream, and cherries immersed in sweet syrup.
Gregg Wallace remarked that Vito’s win showed he has a deep affection for creativity, adding that he is truly extraordinary,” or simply, “Gregg Wallace stated that Vito, upon winning, displayed a profound love for creativity and is exceptionally unique.
There’s a strong indication that Vito naturally excels at winning, given he claimed the Glitterball trophy last year with dance partner Ellie Leach. Could he possibly achieve the same success in 2024 with his partner Sarah Hadland?
