Palworld PS5 Version Removed from List of Games Appearing at TGS

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen countless titles come and go, some leaving lasting impressions while others fade into obscurity. The latest buzz surrounding Palworld has certainly piqued my interest, even though it hasn’t graced our consoles yet.

The intriguing survival game experience from Pocketpair, known as Palworld, hasn’t made its way onto PlayStation yet, but there’s been a lot of talk lately that it might be coming soon due to rumors of a PS5 version of the game being included in next week’s lineup for the Tokyo Game Show, according to Japan’s CESA.

After that discovery, it appears the CESA has revised the given list. A user on ResetEra noticed that the unannounced PS5 version of Palworld is no longer present in the previously mentioned list. It seems the game title was taken off the list not long after it was initially discovered last week.

It’s unclear whether the PS5 listing for Palworld was a mistake or if the release was postponed and the listing removed prematurely. Since Pocketpair has expressed interest in bringing their game to PlayStation platforms, it wouldn’t be unexpected if they do so relatively soon.

In relation to updates concerning the game “Palworld”, it was reported this week that Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have taken legal action against Pocketpair over alleged patent violations. However, Pocketpair has vowed to defend the rights of independent developers to freely explore creative concepts. You can learn more about this situation here.
