Steam Just Got Two of Some of 2024's Best Games

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the recent releases of UFO 50 and Satisfactory on Steam have truly stirred excitement within the gaming community. With Metacritic scores in the 90s and positive user reviews, it’s clear that these games are worth checking out.

Two of the latest Steam games, recently launched, rank as the fourth and sixth top games of 2024, based on Metacritic ratings. Both these games boast scores in the high 90s, placing them alongside titles like “Astro Bot,” “Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth,” “Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree,” “Animal Well,” “Balatro,” and “Tekken 8” – some of the highest-rated games this year. Interestingly, these newly released Steam games share a common feature: they are exclusive to PC platforms.

To begin, the initial game being referred to is UFO 50, developed by Mossmouth. This game has earned the fourth highest rating among all games launched in 2024, boasting a Metacritic score of 91. On Steam, it also garners a “Very Positive” user review rating, which is based on 93% of 555 user reviews expressing positive sentiments about the game.

First introduced by Coffee Stain Studios in 2019, “Satisfactory” has an exceptional rating on Steam, with the maximum possible rating due to 96% of a staggering 153,668 user reviews giving it positive feedback.
