Buffy the Vampire Slayer Coming to Free Streaming Just in Time for Halloween

As a long-time fan of the supernatural and a connoisseur of 90’s television, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the upcoming move of Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Tubi! This iconic series has been an integral part of my Halloween viewing for years, and now, with its arrival on a free streaming platform, it’s like receiving a surprise gift just in time for spooky season.

With Halloween approaching, one of the most beloved horror-related TV shows of all time is preparing for a significant streaming shift. The legendary series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” featuring Sarah Michelle Gellar in the lead role, has been accessible for streaming for quite some time now. At present, the entire series can be watched on Hulu, but that requires a subscription first. However, starting in just a few weeks, you’ll be able to stream “Buffy” without having to pay anything at all.

In October, Tubi has revealed a list of new programs and films they will be adding to their collection, featuring the classic series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer“. From September 27th, this beloved show will become available on Tubi for everyone to watch at no cost. Similar to Pluto TV or Freevee, Tubi is a free streaming platform that incorporates ads into all of its films and series.

The popular series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” is joining Tubi’s collection, along with successful shows such as “Hell on Wheels” and “Sanford and Son”. What makes this particularly thrilling for “Buffy”, however, is its upcoming arrival right before Halloween. As the spooky season reaches its peak, fans will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the realm of vampires and slayers.

For quite some time, Gellar has thrived and prospered in the realm of Hollywood, yet to numerous people, she will remain synonymous with Buffy. This iconic series, spanning over seven seasons, has etched itself into popular culture lore and draws fresh admirers every year.

In a video by WhoWhatWear last year, Gellar was questioned about the clothing pieces from Buffy’s wardrobe and set items she kept after the series concluded.

Gellar shared an interesting observation: “We often said, ‘When boots were put on, fighting was imminent,'” she explained. “I still have a pair of those boots at home that I can wear.” She continued, “From my Buffy wardrobe, what did I save?… Looking back, I wish I had saved more of it – not that I could have kept everything because the studios usually take it back, but you don’t realize the emotional significance later.” She confessed, “Oftentimes at the end of an episode, I was so tired of wearing an outfit that I didn’t always take it – again, if given a choice.” Later, she added that she’s more mindful now about taking items home since gaining more industry experience. “Now I don’t make that mistake anymore,” she concluded.
