Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Possibly Adding Cristiano Ronaldo as Playable Character

As a longtime fan of both Fatal Fury and soccer, I must say this news has me buzzing like Ronaldo scoring a last-minute goal! The idea of seeing CR7, one of the world’s greatest athletes, stepping into the ring in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is simply mind-blowing.

One of the greatest soccer players of all-time seems to be coming to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. In a surprising post on social media, Cristiano Ronaldo shared a video teasing his role in the game. The trailer does not actually show Ronaldo in the fighting game, but does say that “a legendary player joins a legendary game.” It’s possible he could just appear as an alternate skin for one of the other playable characters, but there’s no way of knowing at this time. With Tokyo Game Show around the corner, we could learn more information there.

Below, you can find the trailer showing Cristiano Ronaldo’s role in the game “Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.” Check it out!

Hey there! As a gaming enthusiast, let me tell you, the recent post from Ronaldo has certainly sparked some intrigue and left us scratching our heads a bit! You see, cameos in fighting games have become quite common these days, and developers like SNK, who created Fatal Fury, aren’t strangers to this trend. In fact, Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui from Fatal Fury will soon join the roster of Street Fighter 6 as playable characters!

SNK is understandably eager to bring more attention to the upcoming release of Fatal Fury: City of Wolves, as it’s been over two decades since the last Fatal Fury game hit shelves. While series favorites like Terry and Mai have popped up in other games, the franchise itself has been largely absent. Although Fatal Fury is highly regarded among fighting game aficionados, it doesn’t enjoy the same level of popularity as series like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. Whether featuring Cristiano Ronaldo in the game will pique casual interest remains to be seen, but it certainly won’t hurt its visibility!
