Why Add Jack Skellington?

In the image you see, the promotional material for Twisted Wonderland showcases Disney IPs reimagined in an anime style. Characters from stories like Alice in Wonderland, Hercules, and The Lion King have all been given this treatment by Twisted Wonderland, a project supported by Aniplex. By transforming these familiar Disney characters into anime personas, the team behind Twisted Wonderland has successfully created a new, appealing version of them. Jack serves as a prime example of their success in this endeavor, but one can only wonder what they might do with lesser-known characters like Oogie Boogie.

As Twisted Wonderland continues to grow, it’s only natural that Jack has become part of the festivities. This game is gearing up for a significant Halloween event, and given its connection to Disney, there couldn’t be a more fitting title than The Nightmare Before Christmas. Initially, this movie was considered too dark for Disney, but now, the company embraces Halloween Town wholeheartedly. Characters like Jack and Sally have captured the world’s fascination with The Nightmare Before Christmas more than ever before. Therefore, it was only a matter of time before Jack found his place in Twisted Wonderland.

What Is Twisted Wonderland?

Ever since Aniplex introduced me to the captivating world of Twisted Wonderland in 2020, I’ve been hooked! As a fan of the renowned publisher, it’s no surprise that this title has quickly risen to become one of their crowning achievements. The game was developed by f4samurai and boasts breathtaking artwork, thanks to the brilliant Yana Toboso, best known for creating Black Butler.

In terms of this college, it consists of seven unique dormitories themed around various Disney villains. For example, the Octavinelle Dorm is influenced by Ursula from “The Little Mermaid” while Scarabia is linked to Jafar from “Aladdin”. The game “Twisted Wonderland” explores the darker aspects of Disney, featuring characters like Maleficent, Hades, and Scar. Now, a new Halloween event is being introduced by Jack Skellington in this game. If you haven’t played it yet, “Twisted Wonderland” can be downloaded on mobile devices. Additionally, an anime series for the game is available to stream on Disney+ or Hulu, depending on your location.
