The latest rumors about Microsoft’s next-gen plans have me more excited than a kid on Christmas morning.

It’s been suggested in previous leaks that Microsoft might launch their upcoming gaming hardware ahead of schedule, with the next Xbox potentially debuting as early as 2026. Notably, though, it appears that Microsoft’s future plans for this generation extend beyond the typical home console setup.

One of these will likely be a successor to the Xbox Series X and function as a traditional home console. The other device, on the other hand, may resemble Valve’s Steam Deck and serve as an Xbox handheld.
