As a seasoned quiz enthusiast who has spent countless hours watching and participating in various trivia shows, I must say that I am always eager for the return of Richard Osman’s House of Games. This time around, with an impressive lineup of contestants, the eighth season promises to be as engaging and entertaining as ever.

In my humble opinion, once again, the renowned quizmaster Richard Osman will challenge four famous faces across five intense rounds spread over five action-packed days.
As a cinephile, I can tell you that each round in this game is filled with excitement! It features a variety of trivia questions about general knowledge, team collaborations, and not to mention, the nerve-wracking “Answer Smash” challenge.

Who’s on Richard Osman’s House of Games this week?
Ahir Shah, Michaela Strachan, Dr Xand van Tulleken, and Vogue Williams make up the initial group of competitors gracing the newest season, boasting an impressive 100 episodes. To give you a better understanding of who they are:
Ahir Shah, aged 33, is a renowned comedian who has made people laugh through his stand-up acts. He bagged the Edinburgh Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, an achievement that came after he had been nominated for the award in 2017 and 2018. His stand-up show titled ENDS was premiered on Netflix in September earlier this year.
Michaela Strachan, aged 58, serves as a popular television host, particularly recognized for her roles in hosting series such as Springwatch and The Really Wild Show.

Dr. Xand van Tulleken, who you may have figured out, happens to be a medical professional. At 46 years old, he’s no stranger to television, having hosted shows like CBBC’s Operation Ouch and Channel 4’s How to Lose Weight Successfully in the past.
Last but not least is Vogue Williams, 38. The Irish model and TV personality has participated in shows like Dancing With The Stars, Stepping Out, and Bear Grylls: Mission Survive. She is also married to Made in Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews.
