In an interview with The Sun, Sibbett (the actress who played Carol) shared that Perry’s (Chandler’s actor) awkwardness during the scene where Carol breastfeeds Ben in “The One With the Breast Milk” was partly acting, as Perry was genuinely caught off guard by a choice made by Sibbett.
In response to your query, “Sibbett explained that he attempted to care for the babies, with the mother’s consent, which resulted in the amusing reaction from Matt Perry.
He exclaimed unexpectedly, ‘Look at Sibbett’s exposed chest!’ Thinking I would act out breastfeeding in a theatrical manner, he wasn’t aware that I was actually going to do it.
I felt incredibly relaxed in front of the crowd, and in a spontaneous moment, I exposed my breast to them. The baby seemed surprised and confused as he hadn’t been breastfed before. He didn’t understand what was happening, which made his reaction all the more amusing. That’s why Matt found it hilarious too.
As I scrutinize that take more closely, it feels like I’m catching him red-handed, literally blushing! It’s absolutely hysterical.
