What to Expect From Re:Zero Season 3

Regarding its storyline, “Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World” has much ground to cover in its third season. Judging from the trailers, the upcoming season will emphasize two particular storylines. Should the series receive a two-cour (24 episode) order for season three, it’s likely that the fifth and sixth arcs from the light novel will unfold.

If you’ve been keeping up with the isekai series for some time, you’re familiar with the fifth arc titled “The Stars That Carve History”. This story was initially introduced in 2014 and revolves around Anastasia who orchestrates a series of gatherings. As various groups assemble in Watergate City, they encounter the Witch Cult. In response, Subaru steps up to unite the factions summoned by Anastasia with the aim of overpowering the antagonists.

In regards to Chapter 6, the narrative goes by the title “The Corridor of Memories”. This segment spanned an impressive 90 chapters! Following the Watergate City battle, our protagonist Subaru journeys with his team towards Pleiades Watchtower. At this location, they encounter the tower’s three challenges. As the game unfolds, Subaru encounters various acquaintances from his past, some of whom he’d rather avoid.
