One Piece Welcomes Three New Seraphim in Latest Episode

As a long-time One Piece fanatic who has traversed the Grand Line countless times in my dreams, I must say that the latest revelations in the Egghead Arc have sent me reeling! The unveiling of the final three Seraphim weapons, based on the infamous trio of Doflamingo, Crocodile, and Moria, has only solidified my belief that Oda is a master storyteller.

One Piece is progressing through the Egghead Saga to shed light on developments across the oceans, and the latest episode of the anime has disclosed the last three Seraphims crafted by the government. For now, the focus of One Piece: Egghead Arc has shifted from the happenings within the future island laboratory, as Luffy and the Straw Hats strive to break free, while episodes so far have been gradually unveiling secrets brewing across the seas. The most significant revelation centers around the World Government, which appears to have numerous schemes underway.

In the ongoing narrative of “One Piece”, as the Final Saga unfolds from Eiichiro Oda’s manga, it’s becoming clear that the government wields a greater influence over the world than previously suspected. Imu and the Five Elders are turning out to be more sinister than fans initially thought, and their manipulations are proving fruitful thanks to Dr. Vegapunk’s research. This includes the creation of the Seraphim weapons, and in the latest “One Piece” episode (1120), we were introduced to the final three of these deadly weapons.

One Piece: What Are the Seraphim?

In the episodes preceding the Egghead Arc of One Piece, it was revealed that the World Government abolished the Seven Warlords System, a decision made during the Reverie. This move caused the former Warlords to go their separate ways, and we caught a glimpse of why when the Straw Hats arrived at Egghead. The Marines were able to create a more powerful Pacifista by using Kuma’s body as a model for this new version.

In this rephrased version, the Seraphim characters are designed based on the original Seven Warlords lineup, specifically Jimbei, Boa Hancock, Hawkeye Mihawk, and Kuma, as depicted in their attack on Luffy and the Straw Hat crew. It’s important to note that this design is reminiscent of the first group of Warlords, not any subsequent lineups featuring characters like Trafalgar Law or Buggy. With the release of One Piece Episode 1120, we now have a clear view of the final three Seraphim weapons. Similar to their counterparts, these powerful weapons take the form of younger versions of the ones they’re modeled after.

Who Are the New Seraphim?

In Episode 1120 of One Piece, it seems that the three newly unveiled Seraphim characters have been designed based on Donquixote Doflamingo, Sir Crocodile, and Gecko Moria. Since these three are the last remaining members of the original Seven Warriors, it’s plausible that they represent all the Seraphim weapons we will encounter. Unless Dr. Vegapunk secretly constructs another potent weapon (which appears unlikely given his island is being destroyed by the Government), this would complete the collection of the Seraphim weapons.

Initially, the Seven Warlords cooperated with the World Government to maintain a truce, ensuring neither side interfered excessively in each other’s affairs. However, the Government’s actions have since caused turmoil across the seas, as the equilibrium between pirates and marines has been disrupted significantly. Consequently, each subsequent storyline has been filled with non-stop intense action, and it seems things will only get more complicated before they improve. This is particularly concerning if the newly introduced Seraphim prove to be as powerful as those we’ve previously seen in action.
