As a film enthusiast with a soft spot for Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and a penchant for quirky team-ups, I must say that the Thunderbolts trailer has me intrigued! The ensemble cast, led by the charmingly rebellious Yelena Belova, promises an interesting dynamic among this band of misfits.
The trailer and poster for the upcoming Marvel Studios film, “Thunderbolts,” have just been unveiled. This project is a collaboration between Marvel Studios and an ensemble of independent veterans, who have now brought us “Thunderbolts.” It’s an unconventional team-up starring Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, a disheartened assassin, alongside the MCU’s least expected group of underdogs.
The movie reintroduces to the big screen a number of characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Bucky Barnes (played by Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (portrayed by David Harbour), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Taskmaster (performed by Olga Kurylenko), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (acted by Julia Louis-Dreyfus). It also introduces some fresh, intriguing characters.
In the director’s chair for “Thunderbolts” is Jake Schreier, while Kevin Feige oversees production. The executive producer roles are filled by Louis D’Esposito, Brian Chapek, Jason Tamez, and Scarlett Johansson.
Marvel Studios’ “Thunderbolts*” opens in UK cinemas on May 2, 2025.
