GreedFall 2: The Dying World Enters Early Access, Cinematic Launch Trailer Released

As an avid gamer with over two decades of gaming experience under my belt, I must say that the announcement of Spiders’ GreedFall 2: The Dying World has me absolutely thrilled! Having played and fallen in love with the first game back in 2019, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia mixed with anticipation for this upcoming sequel.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve just dived into “Spiders’ GreedFall 2: The Dying World,” the follow-up to their unexpected role-playing game gem from 2019! Currently, it’s accessible on PC in its early access phase. This new adventure offers a variety of character classes with six skill trees, companions by my side numbering six, and the chance to explore three vast regions. Right now, I’ve only scratched the surface, with approximately 30% of the game under my belt. For a sneak peek at the epic journey ahead, feast your eyes on the cinematic launch trailer below!

In contrast to the initial game, players assume the role of a Teer Fradee native who is unwillingly separated from their home and transported to Gacane. The enigmatic Malichor wreaks havoc, and players must also navigate through rival factions embroiled in conflict. Similarly to the prior game, your choices have repercussions, such as whether allies remain amicable.

As a gamer, I’ve noticed that the combat in this new version has undergone some significant changes. Now, there’s an auto-attack feature and a Tactical Pause option, allowing me to give commands to my party members. This is quite different from the original game’s action RPG style. For more details on what else is new, be sure to check out our feature!

Additionally, you have the option to check out our roadmap for the initial stages of early access on this link. Meanwhile, we’re excited to announce that GreedFall 2: The Dying World will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms, slated for a release in the year 2025.
