As a seasoned movie critic with over three decades of cinematic exploration under my belt, I must say that Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Emily Brontë’s classic novel Wuthering Heights is shaping up to be quite an intriguing project. With Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie leading the cast as Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw respectively, it seems we are in for a compelling retelling of this timeless tale.
Director Emerald Fennell, known for her work on Promising Young Woman and Saltburn, has chosen to adapt Emily Brontë’s timeless novel, Wuthering Heights, as her next project. The movie’s cast is already coming together.
