Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 and 2 Remastered Has Leaked on PSN

As a die-hard Legacy of Kain fan who grew up with the original Soul Reaver games, this news has sent me into a frenzy of excitement! I can still remember the countless hours spent exploring the dark and mysterious world of Nosgoth, battling my way through hordes of enemies as Kain or Raziel. The series has always held a special place in my heart, so to see it returning after all these years is truly a dream come true.

Fans of the Legacy of Kain series have long been able to bring back their cherished franchise, as hints of its revival have become more apparent over time. At San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, branding for the remastered versions of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 and 2 caught the eye of many, suggesting an upcoming announcement. Now, the anticipation seems to be nearing its end, as a PlayStation Store listing for these remasters has unexpectedly appeared online.

The listing was swiftly removed, however, you can find its details further down, kindly shared by @Wario64 via Twitter. According to the listing, Aspyr Media is overseeing this remaster, and it will encompass not just one, but both, Soul Reaver titles as implied by its title. Positioned as a commemoration of Soul Reaver’s 25th anniversary, this remaster will offer players the choice to experience both games with improved graphics or in their original quality. The anticipated release date is set for December 10.
