From the leaked trailer, it appears that Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered will be released on December 10th and will be compatible with both PS5 and PS4 systems. It’s reasonable to expect that this remaster will also arrive on other platforms, although an official announcement regarding this hasn’t been made yet.

1999 saw the debut of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. A sequel, titled Soul Reaver 2, was unveiled in 2001. Beyond the Soul Reaver games, the Legacy of Kain series extended until 2003 with the arrival of Legacy of Kain: Defiance. However, since then, the franchise has remained dormant without any further releases. This remastered version coincides with the 25th anniversary of the series and could be the start of new projects related to the property if it proves successful.
