Alan Wake 2: The Lake House DLC Receives New Trailer, Stars FBC Agent Kiran Estevez as Protagonist

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the latest announcement from Remedy Entertainment has me absolutely thrilled! The prospect of delving into the mysterious Lake House, a research station gone awry due to reckless experiments, is just too intriguing to pass up.

Following the debut of “Night Springs,” the first paid expansion for “Alan Wake 2” in June, its developer Remedy Entertainment declared that the survival horror game would receive a second and final DLC, titled “The Lake House,” in October. During Sony’s State of Play event, we were treated to another glimpse at this expansion.

The game titled “The Lake House” will transport players into a research station known as the facility, managed by the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC). Due to some dangerous experiments that got out of hand, the Dark Place has merged with reality inside the facility, leading to chaotic consequences. Subsequently, it falls on FBC Agent Kiran Estevez, our protagonist in this expansion, to solve the enigma and restore order.

It’s uncertain if Alan Wake himself will appear in the upcoming DLC. However, Estevez, who was a significant character in the original game, will still be portrayed by Janina Gavankar. It appears that “The Lake House” might lay the groundwork for the future “Control 2”. You can watch the latest trailer for the DLC below.

Alan Wake 2: The Lake House is due out this October for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
