EastEnders villain makes final power play in early iPlayer release

As a seasoned movie critic who has witnessed the rise and fall of many a dynasty on both the silver screen and the small one, I must say that the latest twist in EastEnders leaves me utterly spellbound. The Panesar family’s saga is reminiscent of Shakespearean tragedies, with its intricate web of betrayals, power struggles, and unexpected turns.

Head’s up! This information reveals plot details from the upcoming EastEnders episode, which will be aired on iPlayer and BBC One on Wednesday, 25th September. Proceed with caution if you don’t want to know the spoilers.

Life within the Panesar family is usually complex, but things have become even more intricate on EastEnders with the introduction of Nish Panesar, played by Navin Chowdhry. In simpler terms, the Panesars’ domestic situation has just taken another twist due to Nish’s arrival.

Nish lay abandoned on the floor of the Panesar residence, as Suki (Balvinder Sopal) seemed content to let him perish.

Nevertheless, despite her pleasure at seeing him in distress, this state didn’t last long – for when Avani (Aaliyah James) came with Eve (Heather Peace), she soon spotted something amiss.

Despite Suki attempting to imply that she was on the verge of summoning an ambulance, Avani discerned this as a falsehood and swiftly stepped in to save her grandfather’s life herself.

Nearly everyone from the family gathered at the hospital, with Suki urgently trying to keep the child quiet, as she didn’t want him saying something that might get her into trouble if Nish didn’t recover.

As the family argued among themselves, Nish was instead holding discussions with his lawyer. Eventually, he settled the contentious aspect of his will regarding its distribution.

Upon entering the hospital room, the Panesars noticed a significant-looking paper on his lap.

As a devoted admirer, I found myself reading Evil Nish’s final will and testament, shedding light on the destination of his wealth upon his departure from this world.

Nish, with a gleam in his eye, encouraged his family to ponder about the future, as Suki announced that his empire was to be passed down to Avani and Nugget, namely Juhaim Rasul Choudhury.

The family reeled as Nish unveiled his final card – has he got the last laugh?

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One and from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
