Jade Thirlwall unveils new song Midnight Cowboy with Doctor Who’s Ncuti Gatwa

As a seasoned film enthusiast with a knack for discovering hidden gems, I must say that JADE’s latest release, Midnight Cowboy, has left me utterly enthralled. The collaboration with Doctor Who’s Ncuti Gatwa adds an unexpected yet delightful twist to the sultry, bass-heavy track.

JADE recently unveiled her second single titled “Midnight Cowboy,” which also includes a special guest spot by the Doctor Who actor, Ncuti Gatwa.

On Wednesday morning, the band member of Little Mix debuted the track, a prelude to her upcoming single, which she had earlier referred to as “a present for you all before my next song is released.

The song, jointly penned by hitmaker RAYE, starts off with a prelude in spoken form delivered by the Doctor Who actor. This introduction goes: “Dear audience, including you all, regardless of gender, brace yourselves! The performance is about to commence. Feel free to snap photos and record videos. Have fun watching!

In the latter part of the melody, the performer exclaims, “they refer to her as Miss Chaos Jade,” followed by an invitation: “Go ahead and applaud, let’s hear the applause for Miss Jade. Laughs! That’s quite a show.

After the unveiling of Midnight Cowboy, JADE expressed: “I assured the fans that they wouldn’t be kept waiting too long for more tunes…so, I believe it’s high time for another Midnight Cowboy.

She added: “In 2022, RAYE and I wrote this song, produced by Jonah Christian, and featuring a special appearance from Ncuti Gatwa. Titled Midnight Cowboy, it’s a smooth, subtle, bass-heavy track that explores the theme of embracing your sexuality and the abilities you possess as a result.

For the very first time, JADE launched her individual track titled “Angel Of My Dreams” in July, and it turned out to be an enormous hit for the artist.

The track has accumulated over 40 million streams to date, as well as a number of remixes.
