Mel Gibson Makes Rare Public Appearance with Youngest Kids

As a follower who has seen Mel Gibson‘s journey through the highs and lows of Hollywood, it’s heartwarming to see him back in the spotlight, especially with his two youngest children by his side. Despite the controversies that have surrounded him for years, it’s hard not to appreciate the iconic actor’s talent and the impact he’s had on cinema, from “Braveheart” to “The Passion of the Christ.

Mel Gibson had two very special guests during his latest appearance.

On September 24th, the actor made an appearance on the red carpet for the debut of his newest movie titled “Monster Summer”, which took place at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles. Accompanying him were his two youngest kids, Lucia who is 14 years old and Lars who is 7 years old, for this special event.

At the gathering, Mel, aged 68, donned a casual blue blazer featuring delicate white stripes and dark blue denim jeans. In contrast, Lucia was radiant in a red strapless gown and a golden handbag. Equally stylish, Little Lars mirrored his dad’s fashion sense in a white shirt and black trousers. His long, blonde hair cascading over his eyes only added to his cuteness as Mel’s youngest offspring.

Lucia is Mel Gibson’s daughter from his previous relationship with Oksana Grigorieva. The star of Braveheart also has a child named Lars with his current partner, Rosalind Ross. In addition to Lars and the younger two children, Mel Gibson has seven other children – Hannah (43), Christian (42), Edward (42), William (38), Louie (35), Milo (33), and Thomas (25) – with his former wife Robyn Moore.

Mel strolled down the red carpet, beaming broadly, as he took photos next to his co-stars David Henrie, who also directed the movie, Noah Cottrell, Abby James Witherspoon, Lilah Pate, Julian Lerner, and Mason Thames. The movie, which features Kevin James and Lorainne Bracco, revolves around a group of friends who join forces with a sheriff (Mel) to probe the evil that has arisen in their town and disrupted their summer getaway plans.

The movie premiere marked Mel’s second recent public appearance, with his last one being the celebration for Vince Vaughn’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in August. Over the years, Mel has largely avoided the limelight due to numerous controversies. Notably, in 2020, Winona Ryder accused him of making offensive comments about homosexuality and Judaism towards her and a friend in the ’90s, allegations he strongly denied.

In response to TopMob News inquiry of 2020, his representative stated, “This claim is completely false.” It was alleged that she had deceived the media more than a decade prior, and they believe she is still doing so at present.
